Mystery Sketch Theater is a small group of artists that meets every first Wednesday of every month at A Comic Shop to draw from a live model. Models are costumed and usually themed. Everything from zombies and superheros to Harry Potter and characters from Sucker Punch. Cost is $5 to draw or shoot photos. FREE if you just want to hang out. Outside food and drink are welcome. Come early for a good seat. Lately it's been a pretty full house. Drawing starts at 8pm with quick 15 sec poses followed by progressively longer ones. Everything up to 15 minute long poses. Great time to practice up on your life drawing in a fun and festive atmosphere.
Next month's event is set for November 2.
